Solar Panels Coming to Citrus

Citrus College will build solar panels on campus in 2019. The Citrus College trustees chose the project to incorporate sustainable practices on campus in  2018-19 Strategic Plan. Men's Soccer loses third in a row to Santa Barbara

The Citrus College men’s soccer team lost to Santa Barbara College 3-0 on Friday Sept. 7 at home. The Fighting Owls tested the Vaqueros goalie with nine shots, two of which were on goal. In the first minute of the game Citrus midfielder, Imer Figueroa, hit a shot that smacked off the goal post and failed to reach the back of the net. Citrus College men’s soccer lost their second game of the season, falling 2-0 to the Chaffey College Panthers on Aug. 31 at Chaffey College. Citrus had three shots on goal, resulting in three saves by the Chaffey College goalie, Alex Fonseca. From the start of the game the Owls struggled to keep the ball under control.
